A virtual classroom is taking center stage in the teaching and learning landscape of the twenty-first century. Worldwide, Covid-19 has compelled teachers to use a variety of teaching venues to reach their pupils. As they transition from face-to-face interactions, educators find it difficult to swiftly adjust to the virtual world. There are some excellent technologies available to aid educators in establishing an interactive learning environment so they can keep their pupils interested throughout any course being given.
In the process of teaching and learning, I have come across a number of tools, including:
1. Google Classroom
Google created the online platform known as Google Classroom. As a teacher, I have conducted online courses, uploaded assignments, created and shared various activities, administered examinations, and communicated with my students using this platform. With the help of this platform, I can collaborate with students and use Google Docs, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and other tools. Additionally, I have the ability to schedule announcements that I can manage, as well as the responses and comments that are made on the announcement post.
2. Word wall
I use the web resource Word Wall to come up with or just discover activities for my class to participate in. I can choose from a variety of templates on this platform. As an illustration, if I am giving a class about input devices, I can go directly to the website and type in input devices to see a variety of interactive exercises on the topic. I typically do these interactive exercises at the end of my classes to evaluate the level of student learning.
3. Live Worksheets
For making interactive tasks for my students, I use Liveworksheets. It is simple for me to use, and it gives my students a more pleasurable and enjoyable learning experience. There are various possibilities accessible, so I would go through and choose the most suitable exercise style necessary for each learning activity based on the subject taught.
